The culinary voice of an ecosystem — rooted in the Barbialla and Fontallerta farms, expressed within the Le Lune plant nursery. 

Le Lune restaurant is one part of our culinary & agricultural project. With our restaurant in the city of Florence, nestled inside the LeLune plant nursery in the green hills of Florence, just outside the busy city center.

The Restaurant

Our kitchen listens to the land first before it creates. Each dish begins with what the land offers: a harvest, a ripening, a cut. The chefs are guided by the rhythms of the seasons, not the trends of fine dining. You may find that the menu changes daily,  because the landscape does too.

We cook as we farm: with intention, respect, and a lot of love and joy.

RESTAURANT

Our restaurant combines all of our project. You eat the meat from our own farm, the truffles from our forests and the olive oil from our trees. While being seated in the middle of our plant nursery.

PLANT NURSERY

Since the late 60s, the city nursery has been a cherished destination for plant and flower lovers. The restaurant and vivaio are one, make sure to visit both during your visit.

THE FARM

The 500 hectare Barbialla farm in the Tuscan hills is where our Chianina beef is raised, where our honey & olive oil is harvested and produced, and where we source our white truffles and game.
